Mrs. Christensen Ready For Another Great Year

Welcome back! I am excited to teach second grade this year. I taught fifth grade at Bennet for six years, and I have the opportunity to move to second grade for my 7th year. I have enjoyed teaching here. Bennet is a wonderful community.

I am a graduate from Watertown High School in Watertown, SD. Last summer, I got married to Nick. He works at Firethorn Golf Club in Lincoln. I have a younger brother and a younger sister. Brent graduated from South Dakota State University, and he currently lives in Sioux Falls, SD with his wife Meagan. My sister, Jill, is a junior at Moorhead State in MN. My parents still live in South Dakota.

I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and earned my bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I am currently finishing up my masters in Educational Psychology, and I should be finished by December. It has been interesting to be a student again, and I have enjoyed learning in the classroom again.

I am excited for a great year! I look forward to getting to know you all throughout this coming year.
