Boys Golf Team Competes In Season Opener
Elmwood-Murdock Hosts Opener

The Palmyra boy’s golf team participated in their first meet of the year at Grandpa's Woods in Elmwood. The triangular meet featured Elmwood-Murdock, Weeping Water and Palmyra.
The Panthers were led by Senior Nate Smith with a 9 hole round of 35, which was tied for the days best with Kevin Zoz of Elmwood-Murdock. Other varsity notables were Dylan Dubas with a 45, Cory Grant a 48, Steve Newton a 55 and Jordan Goodrich a 60. The team finished with a score of 183, which was good enough for 2nd. Elmwood-Murdock won the triangular with a 153 and Weeping Water finished 3rd with a 187.
The JV team was led by Stewart Heidtbrink with a round of 49. Rounding out the remainder of the team was Cole Giesmann with a 50, Tyler Kinzie a 53 and Thorben Dahlke a 62. The team finished with a score of 214 and was the only JV team in the meet with a full roster.
The Panthers will host Milford on Tuesday April 1st at Woodland Hills at 4pm.
