Palmyra FFA and AgEd State Results
The Palmyra FFA attended the State FFA convention in Lincoln April 3-4 at the Cornhusker Hotel and UNL East Campus. At the convention members attended leadership workshops, delegate sessions, a legislative breakfast, award ceremonies and participated in contests.
Preston Bruss, Adam Field, Dan Robinett and Kyle Schroder received their State FFA Degree at Pershing Auditorium Friday evening. Members achieve the degree by meeting qualifications set by the State and National Associations of reaching required levels in their Supervised Agricultural Experience, participating in leadership activities, going through an interview process and passing the State Test.
In the Career Development Events the Welding Team placed 1st out of 64 teams.
Thomas Hall placed 1st in MIG Welding, Aaron Tritsch placed 1st in O/A welding and Blake Johnson placed 3rd in Arc welding. In Agriscience Ashley received a purple ribbon and placed 25 out of 296 individuals, Brittany Schroder received a white ribbon, along with Kerry Dawson and Dustin Schroder the team received a Red ribbon.
