Welcome to First Grade

    My name is Mrs. Meyer, and I am starting my ninth year in first grade.  I have been teaching at Bennet for 39 years.  Prior to my move to first grade I have also taught second and third grade. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University and my Master of Education degree from the University of Nebraska. My husband Doug and I have two sons, and we live in Lincoln.  Spending time with my family and friends, and reading are my favorite activities. I am looking forward to an exciting year with 14 first graders ready to learn to read!
