My name is Gail Prokop and I teach Kindergarten at Bennet Elementary. I grew up on a farm east of Panama, graduated from Norris High School and earned my BS in Education from the University of Nebraska.
I began my teaching career in western Kansas in a small school teaching 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. When Bennet had a 3rd grade opening I was ready to get back to Nebraska. Seventeen years ago I moved to the Kindergarten level. I really enjoy a 5 year old's eagerness to learn.
My husband Terry works at Wells Fargo in Big Business Lending. Our sons Alex and Tony are 10th and 11th graders. Alex attends Norris High School and Tony is in Palmyra.
