Mrs. Christensen Ready For Another Great Year

Welcome back! I am excited to teach second grade this year. I taught fifth grade at Bennet for six years, and this will be my third year teaching second grade. I have enjoyed teaching here the past eight years and look forward to my ninth year. Bennet is a wonderful community.
I am a graduate from Watertown High School in Watertown, SD. I am married to Nick who works at Firethorn Golf Club in Lincoln. We have one daughter, Lucy. She will be 2 in March. We are enjoying all the new stages and phases that she goes through. Boy, they grow quickly!
I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and earned my bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I recently finished my masters in Educational Psychology in the Cognition, Learning, and Development (CLD) program.
I am excited for a great year! I look forward to getting to know you all throughout this coming year.
