Meet Mrs. Sullivan

4th Grade Teacher

by Stacy Sullivan

Beginning my teaching job at Bennet Elementary 12 years ago was like coming home.  I attended Palmyra-Bennet Schools from Kindergarten until graduating  in 1989.  After graduation, I attended Peru State College and received my degree in 1993.  My teaching career began at St. Teresa's in Lincoln, teaching Kindergarten for one year. The next three years were spent substitute teaching in the area, and working at KinderCare.  I was hired at Bennet in August of 1997.  I recently earned my Master's degree from Peru State College, graduating in May.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, Connor and Kennedy.  I also enjoy shopping, playing volleyball and attending numerous sporting events.  I have found a new love, running.  If plans, and training, go well I will be competing in the Lincoln half-marathon in May.

08/31/2009 Hi Stacy, Was good to see you again after what seemed like a very short summer. I thought if I sent you a message first, it would be easier to email Mrs. Lacey's address. I pray for her and the girls often. I guess I had too many nights awake thinking that it could be me. We have been very blessed so far, I hope it continues. Hope you have a good group this year. Take care, chel Chelley Peterson petersc@lps.org
