Ms. Swartzendruber
My name is Sarah Swartzendruber, and I am the art teacher for Palmyra Jr/Sr. High School and Bennet Elementary. I also enjoy my time spent as the head volleyball coach at the high school.
I was born and raised in Shickley, Nebraska where I graduated from high school in 2001. I received my bachelor’s degree in Art Education and Studio Art from Hastings College in 2005. While attending Hastings College I was also a member of the volleyball team. I began my teaching career at Kearney Public Schools for one year before coming to Palmyra/Bennet in 2007.
I enjoy spending time with my family (especially my niece and nephew) and friends, playing volleyball and softball, swimming, watching sports, and shopping.
My parents Ron and Pat live in Shickley, along with my oldest brother Matt, his wife Tara, and their children Gracie and Evan. I also have one older brother, Aaron, and a younger sister, Abbi who live in Hastings.
