3rd Grade Teacher
Hello! My name is Alison Winter. I was born and raised in Hampton, Nebraska. I went to Hampton Public Schools for grades K-12. I graduated high school in 2000. I then continued my education by attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I graduated in December of 2004 with a Bachelors Degree in Education and Human Sciences, with a coaching endorsement. After graduation, I was a full-time substitute teacher at Norris Public Schools. In the fall of 2005, I accepted a 4th grade teaching position at Franklin Public Schools and was the head varsity volleyball coach. I wanted to continue my education so, I moved back to Lincoln in the summer of 2006. This will be my fourth year at Bennet Elementary. I completed my Masters Degree in Education from Peru State College in August 2008. I enjoy playing volleyball, watching all sports, shopping, and spending time with my family and friends. My parents, Gene and Loa, live in Hampton. My mom is a nurse in Aurora and she also has her own interior painting/decorating business. My dad is a rural mail carrier and a plumber. I have one sister, Megan, who lives in Lincoln. She currently works in Omaha.
