Where in the World is Flat Stanley?
Our Flat Stanley’s
are Off!!
We read the story, Flat Stanley by Jeff
Brown. It is about a boy named Stanley who gets flattened by his
bulletin board when it falls on him during the night. In some ways,
it is a great way to live as a flat boy. He can go down the sewer
to get his mom's ring, slide under closed doors, fly in the air
like a kite, and even travel around the country in an envelope.
Miss Winter’s Third Grade class has done
just that. We have put Flat Stanley in an envelope and sent him to
friends and relatives. We hope Stanley returns with many stories
and pictures. Stanley has been sent as close as Bennet, as far away
as New Zealand, and everywhere in between.
