The Kindergartners in Mrs. Prokop's class have been finding patterns everywhere.  Since patterning is an Algebra skill we know it must be important.  Learning about patterns will help prepare us for High School.

We can make patterns with our bodies like the first picture.  Can you tell what the pattern is?  Is it AB, ABC, or AAAB?

Jy could make his pattern go on and on. He copied the beginning like the chart then had to add more unifix cubes to keep it going.
