Chocolates for Sale!
Why were sixth graders wandering through the hallways on Monday? Shouldn’t they have been in class? Actually, very little class time was needed by the efficient 6th grade elves as they swiftly sorted, bagged, and delivered Baker’s Chocolate orders to various classrooms.
This was the 7th year that the sixth grade took chocolate orders at Christmastime as a fund-raiser. Past profits have gone toward defraying field trip expenses, purchasing items that enhance various academic departments within the school, and helping local charities and caring projects. This year the students voted to donate the profits to the People’s City Mission in Lincoln.
