Welcome to 4th Grade!
Hello and welcome back! I am very excited for the wonderful opportunity to teach 4th grade in Bennet again this year!
My name is Nichole Ourada. I graduated from Palmyra High School in 2006 and then went on to college at Nebraska Wesleyan University, where I was member of the volleyball team. In May of 2010, I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. It is truly rewarding to be able to teach in the district where I grew up and see so many familiar faces!
My husband Garrett, who is also a Palmyra graduate, and I currently live on an acreage outside of Bennet. He currently helps his uncle farm and sells firewood on the side as he is pursuing a full-time job with the USDA. We love living in the rural community and being so close to family, especially our little nephew, Titus. In our spare time, we enjoy being outdoors whether it is camping, fishing, or hunting. We also enjoy playing sand volleyball in the summer.
Along with teaching 4th grade, I am also helping coach the high school volleyball team this fall. I am looking forward to this school year and meeting some new faces! Don’t hesitate to stop in my room and chat!
