In this class of 33 members, 13 (40%) will attend 4 year colleges, and 17 (52) will attend 2 year colleges – so 92%  (up 7% over the class of 2008) will continue their education at the college level following graduation.

29 of the 33 class members or 88% took part in the ACT testing program. The average ACT Composite Score for the Class of 2009 is 22.92 compared to the 2008 National Composite Score of 21.1 and the 2008 State Composite of 22.1 and up 53/100ths point from last year’s class.  So the Palmyra seniors can be proud they beat both the state and national average ACT score.  There are also eleven students who scored 25 or higher and three who scored 31 on the ACT this year.
