Day of the Dead and What It Is All About

Check out these videos!

by Rebecca Gill

And to help you and others understand the holiday a bit better, Spanish IV students have created short videos via PowerPoint and Photostory3 to help the public better see and witness the events, smells, decorations, and beliefs associated with the souls of the departed as it is typically celebrated in the country of Mexico. Many in Mexico, depending on their region, celebrate and observe "Día de los Muertos", "Día de los Santos", and "Dia de los Difuntos" differently; just as those in the United States celebrate Easter or Christmas differently than their neighbors might.

We certainly hope you enjoy their work.

Thank you Spanish IV for sharing these with Spanish I students so that they might better understand.
