Palmyra FFA/Student Council Blood Drive
The Palmyra FFA/Student Council held a successful blood drive November 24 at the Palmyra High School. The Nebraska Community Blood Bank parked their mobile unit in the school parking lot and the campaign started. 58 students, teachers and community members registered or walked in as donors and 56 individuals went through the donation process. The blood drive provides a scholarship for the school of $10 for each unit collected and will be combined with the spring drive in March.
The staff were quick and professional and everyone enjoyed the
experience, donor time averaging 45 min. or less. T-shirts, snacks,
pens and other items were passed out to donors after their
donation. THANKS TO EVERYONE.
Mark your calendar for the March 9th blood Drive.
