Mrs. Janssen's New Arrival

It's a boy!

On Thursday, January 21st Mrs. Janssen's family grew in size by 10 fingers and 10 toes. Jake Patrick Janssen was born at 2:14 pm. He weighed 8 pounds 3 ounces and measured 22 inches in length. Jake was born at Lakeside Hospital in Omaha.

Jake and his parents were able to come home on Saturday, but had a brief re-admittance into the hospital on Monday. Jake had high bilirubin counts so needed to be hospitalized overnight and throughout the day on Tuesday. Everyone is home now and settling into a new routine. Jake has an older brother, Will, who is learning to adjust to another person in the household, but is very excited to be a big brother.
