2010 Driver Education Class
District OR1 is offering a Driver Education Class at Palmyra High School this spring. Classroom instruction will begin Monday, May 24 and continue through Friday May 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Students who successfully complete this class will receive a Provisional Operators Permit waiver. This waiver eliminates the written and drive test from the Department of Motor Vehicle. Requirements are: 100% attendance, 20 hours of classroom instruction, 5 hours practical driving, written state exam, and a final driving exam.
Enrollment begins now. Students must be 14 years of age by June 1. Pick up a form from Mrs. Powell or Mr. Wergin at Palmyra High School. Cost of this class is $200 payable to
Palmyra High School.
