MSA Classes updated with Microsoft 2010
This year’s MSA (Microsoft Academy) classes will be using Microsoft 2010. This is the first update for the MSA classes since 2000. Technology is constantly changing in today’s society. Microsoft is a widely used program in the Business community. By using the 2010 program, we give the students the necessary background to be competitive or advance in today’s business world.
Our 8th grade class is using the PowerPoint 2010 program. We teach PowerPoint at this level so they will be able to use the presentation software in other classes. Our ninth graders work with Word 2010 (Text based program), Excel 2010 (Spreadsheets), and Access 2010 (database).
By becoming familiar with these programs, it also makes it easier to use different systems, other than Microsoft. The student is prepared to enter the business world, college, or life after school.
