Mrs. Christensen
Greetings! I am Mrs. Christensen. I have been at Bennet Elementary for 18 years! I began my teaching career here in 2001 with the 5th grade, and in 2007 I moved to 2nd grade. I have my masters in Educational Psychology, specifically in Cognition, Learning, and Development, from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln.
My family and I live in Lincoln, however my 2 girls attend Bennet Elementary as well. Lucy is a 5th grader, and Ava is a 3rd grader this year. They love Bennet as much as I do! Lucy loves to dance, and Ava enjoys gymnastics. My husband, Nick, is the Super-intendant at Firethorn Golf Course. Nick and I are both originally from South Dakota. I grew up in Watertown and Nick is from Beresford, which is just south of Sioux Falls.
I look forward to another great year at Bennet! It truly is an amazing place to be!
