Mrs. Bahm's Fifth Grade is on a Roll !

Another school year has begun, and I am so excited! I would like to welcome all new Fifth grade students and parents, and am looking forward to a great year.

Just to let you know a little bit about me, I am a native of Fremont, NE. I graduated from Fremont High School and then from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln with a degree in Elementary Education. Following graduation, I taught my first four years in Colorado(Jefferson County School District). I met my husband Daryl there, and we were transferred back to Lincoln. I taught in L.P.S. for a year and then had our wonderful daughter, Susanne.

I have taught at Bennet Elementary for 15 years, this being my 16th. I have so enjoyed being in a smaller community where parental involvement is so fantastic. Thanks for the opportunity to work with your children.

Speaking of children, we have two wonderful grandchildren. Alexa is five years old and just entered Kindergarten at Maude-Rousseau. Our grandson, Jackson, is two years old and is keeping everyone busy at Little Kingdom. They are the joys of our lives!

Again, thank you for lending me your special children for nine months of hard work, lots of learning, and lots of fun!
