Welcome to 5th Grade!
Hello! My name is Mindy Dymacek. I was born and raised in Hickman, NE. I went to Norris Public Schools for grades K-12. I graduated from high school in 2007. Doane College in Crete, NE is where I continued my education after high school. While at Doane, I student taught in Elkhorn Public Schools in 7th and 8th grade Spanish, as well as 6th grade math. In the spring, I student taught at Wilber-Clatonia Elementary in 2nd grade. I graduated in May of 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Middle School Math and Spanish. Also, in May, I accepted the 5th grade position at Bennet Elementary!
Over the summer, I worked on my Master’s Degree at Doane. I plan on continuing next summer. In July, I spent a week in Ocho Rios, Jamaica with my family. We had a great time relaxing in the ocean and by the pool.
I enjoy playing softball, watching movies, playing Nintendo Wii, working on puzzles, and spending time with my friends and family. My parents, Jim and Janis, still live in Hickman. I have one brother, Scott, who lives in New Jersey. My mom is a Title I teacher in Wilber-Clatonia and my dad works in Admissions at UNL. Scott is in the United States Coast Guard.
