Welcome to Title 1
Hello! My name is Abbi Swartzendruber. I grew up in Shickley, NE and graduated from Shickley Public School in 2004. I received my Associates Degree from Hesston College and then received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and K-12 Special Education from Hastings College.
My first year of teaching I taught Special Education for Lincoln Public Schools and am excited to be starting my second year teaching Title 1 at Bennet. Teaching Title 1 has given me the opportunity to work with students in a variety of grade levels, which I really enjoy. I also coach Junior High volleyball and help with the High School volleyball team.
In my free time I enjoy shopping, playing volleyball and spending time with my family and friends. My parents Ron and Pat live in Shickley. I have three siblings. My brother Matt, his wife Tara and their kids Gracie and Evan also live in Shickley. My brother Aaron lives in Bellevue and my sister Sarah is the art teacher here at Bennet.
