Dean Busch fills vacant seat of long-time board member Doug Church

The District OR-1 Board of Education is pleased to announce that Mr. Gary (Dean) Busch has been appointed to fill the vacant board seat of Doug Church whose resignation was accepted by the board at last month’s (9/13) regular board meeting. This board appointment was approved at last Monday’s (10/11) regular board meeting and Mr. Busch will officially begin his board duties on Monday, November 8th, 2021. Board service is an excellent way for our patrons to serve their communities and school districts at a local level and we are excited to have Mr. Busch on the board. Mr. Busch’s appointed board term will run from November 8th, 2021- January 9th, 2023.
