Board of Education Update
SUMMARY OF MAY 9, 2022 MEETING
Launch the media gallery 1 player· A special thank you to Ms. Jillian Kepler and Mr. Sean Mulholland for their service and commitment to our students, our district, and our community. The board accepted their resignations Monday night, as these teachers are pursuing other opportunities at the end of this school year. We wish them the best in their future endeavors.
· Approved contracts for Mrs. Brianne Lahmon as elementary teacher and Mr. John Furrow as music education teacher for the 2022-23 school year.
· Discussed creation of district activity committee to collaborate on information needed to make decisions about if and when to add additional district activities.
· Discussed facility planning and potential bond resolution for consideration to provide funding to address growth and educational needs. The next community engagement meeting is Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 6 pm at Bennet Elementary.
