Get to know Miss Kepler

My name is Jillian Kepler and this will be my fourth year teaching 3rd grade at Bennet Elementary. I am from Chappell, Ne which is a small town in the Panhandle. I graduated high school in 2011. After high school, I attended Chadron State College and received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 2016.

Many people often ask me how I ended up in Bennet. Well my brother lives in Palmyra and I applied to student teach at Bennet because I wanted to see what the other side of the state was like. Luckily I was accepted to student teach here at Bennet Elementary. After graduation from college, I was hired here at Bennet to teach 3rd grade and I could not have been more ecstatic!

When I am not at the school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have 2 older brothers and 1 niece. During the summer, I go back home to help on our family farm. Many people are surprised when I tell them that when I go back to the farm I am one of my dad's tractor and combine operators. Farming will always be a part of me and it helped shape me into who I am today. When I am not working and have free time I love spending time with my dog Leo. He is a 2 year old German Shepard and is full of energy.

I am excited to start a new school year. If you have any questions for me please don't hesitate to ask.
