I am delighted to be the K-12 School Counselor for District OR1. This role has changed dramatically in the last ten years as educational needs in our nation have become more demanding. As an ASCA (American School Counseling Association) trained school counselor I provide leadership, advocacy, and collaboration in support of the needs of all students in K-12. This includes identification and provision of preventative services in partnership with parents and teachers; responding to identified student needs by implementing a comprehensive school counseling program that focuses on academic success, personal and social development, and career and college guidance. I love working with people of all ages, especially the students, parents, teachers and staff of our schools in Palmyra and Bennet.
