Twas the Week Before Kindergarten Break...
Twas the week before break…
Twas the week before break and all through the Kindergarten hall
Not a kiddo was quiet, not one of them at all!!
The teachers were worried about what to do,
With such a noisy and mighty Kindergarten crew.
It was time to replace the spooky décor,
Something was missing…they needed much more.
To our planning table we flew….
The three Kindergarten teachers suddenly knew..
Those noisy kiddos just needed a few holiday joys,
So we made up a gaggle of snow girls and snow boys!
That didn’t seem quite enough,
We knew it couldn’t be too tough,
To whip up a little more Christmas cheer…
We would need to create a wall of adorable reindeer!
Now the Kindergarten troop seemed to settle down a bit…
But something was nagging at us not to just quit,
So a few crafts later, with loads of cutting and gluing,
We teachers were knowing just what we were doing!
With a snip and a cut, some cotton and glue,
The Kindergartners fingers feverishly flew…
As they had to brainstorm ways to get an old man some luck,
As in THIS craft, Santa found himself STUCK!
Finally, the hallways are filled with great cheer,
As you walk by the snow people, Santa and reindeer.
If you’re lucky you’ll even catch a holiday tune,
From the magical makings of kiddos in the music room.
We may still have the noisiest herd,
But hope you will walk by and hear an encouraging word.
As we prepare for a great break, full of families and fun, loads of great memories and spaces to run!
Happy Holidays and Happy Vacation
From the Kindergarten bunch and teachers in charge of their education…
