Second Graders enjoy the SAC Museum
10..9..8..7..6..5..4..3..2..1 Second graders BLASTED OFF to the SAC Museum! We were able to do a variety of fun hands-on activities while we were there on April 30th. Students built robots out of Legos, and were able to program them to move with a tablet! We then made parachutes using coffee filters, paper bags, and plastic sacks. When their parachutes were complete, students were able to drop them off the second story to see which type of parachute would land first or last. A few parachutes got stuck on their way down, but the students had a great time! We also made Alkaselzer rockets using Alkaselzer, water, and old film canisters. It was a great day had by all!
