Benjamin and Kristopher
Kristopher and Benjamin were in their cousin's wedding this summer.

Welcome to Kindergarten!  My name is Angela Nitzsche and I am one of the Kindergarten teachers here at Bennet Elementary.  This is my eighth year teaching Kindergarten.  I started out 13 years ago as the Kindergarten para and it was then that I realized my true love was to teach.   I started taking classes at Peru State College and graduated in December 2010 with a degree in Elementary Education.

I am originally from Shickley, Nebraska and graduated in 1991 from Shickley Public School.  While in high school I played volleyball and ran track.  After high school I attended Hesston College in Hesston, Kansas and graduated with a Liberal Arts degree in 1993.

I live in Hickman with my husband, Steve, and we have two boys Kristopher, 22 and Benjamin, 18.  Kristopher is attending SCC and will transfer to finish out at a 4 year university.  His major is Community Health and Wellness.  Benjamin is a freshman at UNK and his major is 7-12 History.   My family is very important to me and I love to share stories about them.  When I’m not at school I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  I am excited about this school year and look forward to working with you and your children.
