The Palmyra FFA Land Judging Team placed 8th in the State Land Judging Competition at McCook Nebraska. Palmyra competed against the 29 qualifying teams from across the state of Nebraska.  Members had to determine the texture of the soils, slope, erosion and what class of land the field site was. The team determined how to use certain practices for the land and made soil and fertilizer determinations. James Bremer placed 17th, Vanessa Knutson was 30th, Zach Roath 60th and Brian Bruggeman 72nd.
