Bennet Elementary
Welcome to Bennet Elementary and the 2013-2014 school year. My name is Linde Walter and I am in my 12th year in Education and my first year at District OR 1. Prior to this, I spent 11 years in the Elkhorn Public Schools as an elementary teacher, special education teacher and an assistant principal.
I am very appreciative for the opportunity to work with such wonderful staff, families, students and community members. The dedication and commitment to helping students succeed is a top priority for our staff. I look forward to continuing to get to know the students and families in District OR 1 and providing all students an opportunity to be successful in a safe, caring and positive environment.
Education:
1999 BS in Elementary Education and Special Education with an endorsement in Early Childhood from the University of Sioux Falls. 2002 Masters in Technology from Lesley University. 2009 Masters in Educational Administration from Concordia University in Seward.
Family:
My husband Chad works for the City of Lincoln as a firefighter. Our daughter Rylie is in first grade and we have twin boys Colton and Kaden who attend preschool. We enjoy spending time together and watching husker athletics.
