Meet Mrs. Nitzsche
Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Angela Nitzsche and I am one of the Kindergarten teachers here at Bennet Elementary. This is my fifth year teaching Kindergarten, but my 10th year at Bennet. Before teaching, I was the para for both Kindergarten classrooms. While I was a para I realized my true love was to teach and I started taking classes at Peru State College. I graduated in December 2010 with a degree in Elementary Education.
I am originally from Shickley, Nebraska and graduated in 1991 from Shickley Public School. While in high school I played volleyball and ran track. After high school I attended Hesston College in Hesston, Kansas and graduated with a Liberal Arts degree in 1993.
I live in Hickman with my husband, Steve, and we have two boys Kristopher, 19 and Benjamin, 15. Kristopher graduated from Norris High School in May and will be a freshman at UNL. Benjamin is a sophomore at Norris. He plays football, does the high jump, and ran the 100 in track. When I’m not at school I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, attending various sporting events, and shopping. I am excited about this school year and look forward to working with you and your children.
