Meet Mrs. Christensen
Welcome to 2nd grade! I am excited to teach second grade again this year. I have been at Bennet Elementary since 2001! I taught fifth grade for six years, and have been teaching second grade ever since. I have enjoyed teaching at District OR 1 and we are a part of a wonderful community.
I am a graduate from Watertown High School in Watertown, SD. I am married to Nick who is the Superintendent at Firethorn Golf Club in Lincoln. We have two daughters, Lucy and Ava, and both of them attend District OR1.
I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and earned my bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I finished my masters in Educational Psychology in the Cognition, Learning, and Development (CLD) program in 2008.
I am excited for a great year! I look forward to getting to know you all throughout this coming year. Thank you for sharing your kiddos with me!
