Meet Mrs. Jen Whyman
Launch the media gallery 1 playerMy name is Jen Whyman and I work with the special education students at the elementary at District OR-1. I live in Lincoln with my husband Tracey and have five children Nick, Anna, Clara, Mollie, and Lillie.
I grew up around David City and love the rural community. Nebraska Wesleyan is where I received my undergraduate degree with a major in special education and minor in music. I later went on to UNL to complete my masters in Curriculum and Instruction. I have been teaching since 1995 and have been in almost every grade level K-8 as well as PE and music.
In my free time, I love to watch my kids in their activities and play with all of our pets. Music, singing and taking care of my chickens are things I love to do.
