Booster Bash

High School Volleyball

Panther Booster Bash

The tunes from the pep band, the cheers from the cheerleader, and the fans clapping in the stands for the announcement of the fall sports set the stage for an exciting time.  Because of all the Boosters’ hard work and dedication to our athletics, the bash was a once a gain a success.  The student body would like to thank the Palmyra Athletic Boosters for hosting the booster bash.

To start off the night, the boosters sold pizza.  Then around 7 o’clock it was time to announce our fall sport teams.  With the help of Dave Hall, and Rev. Darin Corder, and the PHS pep band; all of the sports we announced.  From junior high to high school, each and every team was excited to tell about their goals for the season and compete.

A special event that came up numerous times during the booster bash was our own PHS Pink Panther volleyball game.  This game will be held on October 7th and all proceeds will be donated to help find a cure for breast cancer.  Additionally, The volleyball team is taking donations for the night and will sell pink shirts to ensure that there is a large group of PINK representing District OR1 athletics.  It’s a great cause!

The athletic boosters would like everyone to know that the next meting is September 8th at 7:00 in the Bennet Elementary School.  Everyone is welcome that night if you would like to join.  The boosters have done a lot in the past to help PHS and the future plans are even better.

Thanks again for the Palmyra Athletic Boosters for hosting this event.  It was a great turn out and a fun and exciting night. Good luck fall sport teams!
