Applied Communications class is looking for students to become members by joining the class or as a club member. You can be in 7-12th grade and we will train you to do it all! You can help with photography, the yearbook production, broadcasting and more.

Our yearbook/media class, Applied Communications, is a busy one during most weeks. We have so much to do to keep the school informed. The class is doing its best to broadcast all home games and concerts for your viewing pleasure at Striv.tv/channel/palmyra on a small staff of 6 students and a few volunteer club members. If we play a varsity game at home, we will be on air (barring no technology issues). In addition, these same students update the televisions in the Palmyra High School commons area, as well as the Bennet Elementary lunch room, to provide a schedule of the week's activities, classroom and activity photos, and lunch menus for the week, along with daily national news. In our spare class time, we work to produce a growing yearbook. Due to the plant shutting down for COVID, our 2019-2020 yearbook “2020 Vision” has finally arrived. We have extra copies if you would like to purchase one for $40. Each year we strive to create a better edition. In fact, the 2019-2020 edition has grown from 88 pages to more than 100 pages with new senior ads available and growing class numbers.
