Update on Bennet Elementary Transportation Information

Thank you for a great first day of school and for your flexibility when picking up and dropping off students. As the week progresses, we will continue to update our procedures. Please remember, the PK Entry will be the MAIN entry for the entire school year.
Parents may park ONLY in the EAST parking lot when picking up students. If the parking lot is full, you may park on the streets. The SOUTH PARKING LOT is CLOSED to vehicles.
KDG and Fifth grades will dismiss at 3:10 p.m.
*KDG students will wait with their teacher in the SOUTH PARKING WALKWAY. Parents will need to park and walk up to get your child.
*Fifth grade will be dismissed with supervision to the EAST PARKING LOT by the barricaded walkway.
First and Third grades will be dismissed at 3:15 p.m.
*First-grade students will wait with their teacher at the PK doors (Main Entry for This Year). Parents will need to park and walk up to get your child.
*Third grade will be dismissed with supervision to the EAST PARKING LOT by the barricaded walkway.
Second and Fourth grades will be dismissed at 3:20 p.m.
*Second grade will wait with their teacher in the SOUTH PARKING WALKWAY. Parents will need to park and walk up to get your child.
*Fourth grade will be dismissed with supervision to the EAST PARKING LOT by the barricaded walkway.
Rec. Program Update:
*If your child will utilize the After-School Rec. Program, you will need to park and enter at the PK doors (Main Entry for This Year) to pick up your student.
NOTE: If you arrive to school after 8:45 a.m., you will need to call the office for building entry (402-782-3535 x1).
We appreciate your patience and flexibility during this transition. As always, the safety of our students is the number one priority of District OR1 schools.
