Early Out Scheduled for March 17

District OR1 will have an early dismissal at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 17 to allow our staff to participate in an important professional development session. During this time, our teachers will receive initial training on a new teacher evaluation tool and model designed to support their ongoing growth and professional development. This initiative is part of District OR1’s commitment to continuously improve instruction, retaining high-quality educators, and enhancing the learning experience for all students.
Please note the following:
- Lunch will be served as usual before dismissal.
- There will be no afternoon PK.
- There will be afternoon Rec at Bennet following dismissal.
- After-school practices and activities scheduled that day will start at their normal times. For example, HS Track and HS Golf at 4 p.m., Main Stage at 6 p.m. and Cheer Tryouts at 6 p.m.
- Students that have transportation concerns for track and golf practice should reach out to their coaches, and the school will provide a study hall atmosphere for those that need to stay in the building from 1 p.m.-4 p.m.
