BOARD OF EDUCATION UPDATE
SUMMARY OF APRIL 11, 2022 MEETING
A special thank you to Mrs. Taytum Stutzman, Ms. Andrea Lemmer, and Mrs. Sandy Murphy-Robb for their service and commitment to students, our district, and our community. The board accepted their resignations Monday night, as these teachers are pursuing other opportunities at the end of this school year. We wish them the best in their future endeavors.
Approved contracts for Ms. Michelle Irvine as family consumer science teacher and Ms. Dana Christensen as elementary teacher for the 2022-23 school year.
Reviewed community relations policy 1000 series, administration policy 2000 series, and business operations policy 3000 series.
Discussed process for moving forward with facility upgrades and funding to address district growth.
Approved policy 5006—optional enrollment resolution and capacity appendix for 2022-23 school year.
Approved purchase of 2020 Freightliner bus.
Approved getting bids for purchase of an additional activity van.
Approved service agreements with ESU #4 for special education and core services for 2022-23 school year.
